This policy explains what Netest.in processes when you read an article, use a networking tool, or contact us. It also distinguishes data handled by Netest.in from data handled independently by our analytics, hosting, and advertising providers.

Information We Process

Website analytics

Google Analytics is active. It may receive information such as the page URL, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device details, referral information, and interactions with the website. We use aggregated reports to understand traffic and improve content and tools. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services in Google's partner-sites disclosure.

Microsoft Clarity is active. Clarity helps us understand page use through interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, page rendering, heatmaps, and session recordings. Microsoft states that playback data is generally retained for 30 days, while click and heatmap data and labeled or favorited sessions may be retained for up to 9 months. Advertising

Netest.in has a Google AdSense publisher account, but AdSense approval and ad serving are currently pending. An AdSense account-verification tag may be present even on pages that do not serve ads. If Google approves and activates ad serving, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers, page URLs, and related information to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and personalize ads where permitted and selected.

Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's previous visits to Netest.in or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve and measure personalized ads where permitted. The Google advertising cookie has historically also been described as the DoubleClick DART cookie. Other third-party advertising vendors or networks may use their own cookies if they are enabled for this site.

Google's handling of advertising information is described in its partner-sites disclosure. Visitors can opt out of personalized Google advertising or manage their advertising preferences in Google Ads Settings. Visitors can also use YourAdChoices to review opt-out choices offered by participating third-party vendors. Where required, advertising and related optional storage will be subject to the choices presented through the site's consent mechanism before ads are served.

Networking tools

When you submit an IP address, hostname, domain, URL, port, certificate, or similar value to a server-side tool, Netest.in processes that value only to perform the requested check and return the result. Tool inputs and results are not persistently stored in a Netest.in application database or local result history. Limited in-memory rate-limit or response-cache entries may exist temporarily and disappear when they expire or the server restarts.

A requested check may necessarily send the target to DNS resolvers, registration-data services, geolocation providers, certificate endpoints, blacklist providers, or the target host itself. Those third parties and target operators may receive the query or the Netest.in server's IP address and may keep their own logs under their policies. Do not submit secrets, private keys, authentication tokens, private customer data, or targets you are not authorized to test.

Contact and email

The contact page does not contain a message-submission form, send messages itself, or store messages in a database. It provides a link to support@netest.in, which opens your own email application. If you choose to send an email, we receive the address, message, attachments, and technical metadata supplied through the email service.

Received support emails are currently retained indefinitely unless the sender requests deletion or retention is required to protect the site, resolve abuse, establish or defend legal claims, or comply with law. Please send only the information needed for your request.

Server and security logs

Our hosting and network providers may create routine server, access, security, and error logs. These logs can include an IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, response status, and security-event details. The approximate server-log retention period is 180 days. Logs are used to operate the service, diagnose faults, enforce rate limits, investigate abuse, and protect the website.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies or similar browser technologies. Google AdSense may do so if ad serving becomes active. Essential browser storage may also be used for website preferences or security. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, although doing so may affect some features. Private-browsing mode alone does not necessarily prevent analytics or third-party collection.

How We Use and Share Information

We use information to operate and secure Netest.in, answer support emails, improve educational content, understand aggregated site use, diagnose problems, and prevent abuse. We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that support hosting, analytics, email, security, or—if activated—advertising. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

Google, Microsoft, email, and hosting providers may process information in countries other than your own under their respective terms and privacy safeguards. Their retention periods may differ from Netest.in's retention periods.

Your Choices and Requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions and identity verification.

You may request deletion or ask a privacy question by emailing support@netest.in. Please identify the relevant email or interaction without sending additional sensitive information. We can address information controlled by Netest.in; requests concerning data controlled independently by Google, Microsoft, or another provider may need to be made directly to that provider.

You can also:

• block or delete cookies and similar storage through your browser;
• use Google Ads Settings to opt out of personalized Google advertising or manage advertising preferences;
• use YourAdChoices to review opt-out choices from participating third-party vendors; and
• use the consent controls shown on the site, where available, to reject or later change optional choices.

Security and External Links

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the service, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Netest.in may link to external websites whose privacy practices we do not control.

Children's Privacy

Netest.in is a general technical-education website and is not directed to children. Do not send personal information about a child through the support address or networking tools.
